Quality Management
Gulf Concrete & Blocks have Quality Assurance Programme that covers all aspects of production, commencing from the quality control of raw materials. This programme is to ensure product quality to required standard and service to our customers.
Our Quality Assurance System is certified to ISO 9001: 2008; ISO 14001: 2004 and OHSAS 18001: 2007. It is managed by quality engineers and controlled by trained Internal Quality Auditors. It is also subject to verification from time to time by external quality auditors. Product quality is ensured by a systematic process of monitoring and control which covers all activities from procurement of raw materials, to final delivery.
We are subscribing member of the British Standards Institution and American Concrete Institute. Apart from a dedicated management staff and skilled workforce, quality is also the result using raw material of high quality. All raw materials are subjected to a well defined quality control procedure. All weighting and measuring instruments used in the batching plant as well as in the laboratory are calibrated at specified intervals internally and by competent third party agencies. This process ensures the accuracy of the weighting and measuring system. Details of plant machinery, staff, as well as a list of clients and major projects served by us can be submitted upon request.
